Ordered some of this gear for a job we had completed back in February that went horribly discoloured and had very fine hairline cracking everywhere .... We were looking at at a ball ache of a hack off and redo when I came across this stuff ..... Thought as per usual there is no chance it will...
Any help appreciated here guys .... We finished a couple panels before Christmas and were left mint ...... Went back today and they are badly discoloured and what looks pigment runs at edge of window cills :/ ..... Suggestions ?

Hi Wiganlad
Fortunately one of the training providers is working on a site round the corner from me :)))
Whom I have now befriended /pestered in to submission .... And is now going to train my guys on site :))))))))
After it's had the once over and a service from my other new friends...
Hi sorry was a bit unclear
If you use OCR through mtec .... To 15-20mm coat (effectively the scratch and topcoat)
Can it then be roughcast once it's levelled straight away ? Ie done in one day
Thanks plasterers one stop ... What do you think would be a fair price ? 2300 ? When I go collect and confirm it works I will be in touch to get you guys to give it the once over :)
Thanks

Thanks for your help. Turns out Refina now sell the tungsten rasps. £85. Saves import and shipping costs. We should be starting this one in the next week or so. I'll let you know how we get on.
What size is the rasp you have as they come in varying sizes. There's a few of us so don't want to have to pay additional shipping costs if it can be avoided. Would rather spend a few hundred than £2000!!!
We've done a lot of Sto but only on to carrier board and the hard. I totally agree with the rasping, it's essential. I've had a price from demand products for 2 rasps. I'm sure 13" & 14" ones. What are the best ones and how long will they last? I'm asking as they have said they can send a few...
It's Armat Classic and mesh. Boards need rasped to get all the crap off them. It's been up for a year. Sto are saying that it will take about a week by hand or a day or 2 with the machine. It's about 200m2. I don't have a week to spend rasping!
We have a Sto render system to apply to Beco Wallform Blocks. The Beco blocks need rasped first before the render application. Sto sell a powered rasping machine called Inoplan for around £2000. Does anyone know where we can get one for less than this?
was wondering today when up a very great height as to why we can skim on to board ..... and yet skimming on to paper under normal circumstances is a nono ..... was hoping big segs could enlighten us with the make up of plasterboard being acceptable or whatever :> or is it simply magic paper ??? :)
do you guys use a brush to polish up your ceiling ??? by this i mean after second trowel ready for polish with a nice soft brush wet ceiling with brush by brushing it then troweling straight over ??? reason i ask our aprentice was told at college that a brush should never touch his walls /...
