I've heard all this I do a million metres a day b*ll***s before. Even doing 80 metres a day tires me out after a few days and I consider myself quite fit. I'm going to try the retarder and post a new thread next week letting you know if I've been sacked off for trying too much and being rough...
I mix a three bag guage three times a day, I wanted to slow it to try for a few more bags in two gauges instead of three and still make my money. I heard about this tip and wondered if it was true or not.
I know this has been discussed before but I'm on price work and am looking to improve the size of my guages. Does cream of Tatar or bicarbonate soda re***d board finish? Or do I just need to man up and get out of my comfort zone haha seriously though any tips would be greatly appreciated
Guys really need some help and dont want to lose this one,been offered the chance to price a housing estate of around 12 houses board and skim , fairly small dwellings tho.

I use a revolving machine float, does a superb uniform finish. I have the same kind of sponge float for the more awkward bits the machine can't get to.
