Has this happened to anyone else ? The plaster just slides to the centre of the trowel instead of spreading on the wall, it's weird because it does it when the plaster is sometimes thick..Thin and just right in terms of consistency.

This will be my third post now in a short time of being here, but there's alot of mixed opinions on this. Some say to never use Multi Finish over lime some say they always do it. What would you do and how would you deal with a job like plastering over old lime plaster ? Thanks in advance.

Hi there, so i'm plastering a landing top to bottom and the walls are flat however when i'm laying the first coat on it's just not spreading on the walls properly. Two coats of PVA were applied, the walls were porous, very old with multiple types of plaster. The plaster i'm using is multi...
