Finished a small kitchen one over artex today aswell. I give it a pva day before, and on the day. Multi on both coats. First filled out ok then second flew on, but it picked up faster than i thought it would. I wasn't dragging my feet either. Ill try the bonding like others have suggested next time.

You get some lazy bastids who dont bother moving furniture out. I did an artex ceiling once while pushing a leather 3 and 2 seater around. Nothing could be done in that case, but turned a difficult job into an epic.

Its good to set the beads in on reskim etc. Scrim tape down the beads add to a more solid corner. Nicer to skim up to. I usually hold a bead on by pushing the tip of a screw in on plasterboard. Anyways its a strange question. Surely its only of concern to your plasterer?.

I would also cut the board short of the edge of the brickwork so the bead will end up against the face instead of its edge. Would create a nice feature with the edge visible..anyways i know what i mean haha.

If you dot n dab the plasterboard will be proud of the wall. The bead you want to cut away will take up the void so just fill in the void and attach bead as normal?.

Exactly. Nobody has mentioned it might be no fault of the boarders. It looks like you want a solution to a problem you may be have created, but dont want to be put out, and fix or prevent it from happening.
