    Render match.. can it be done?

    Hi chaps!!!! Need a bit of advice.... have a job to patch repair render and have been asked to match this finish .... I think its actually had a textured paint on the top to create the texture... can't see how it can be done with render ...am I wrong ? P.s its not mono its sand and cement

    Hi chaps... currently working on some lime walls and my surveyor had specified he wants me to use limelite high impact as s top coat... wanted the conserv top coat but this is what I have ended up with .... any advice or pointer to using it ? Have used NHL 3.5 as a backing coat.

    Hi chaps Looking at buying the dewalt cordless mixer (have the corded one already)... im looking at either the 6amp or the 9amp batteries... is there much noticeable difference In the power? Mostly using it for skim and a few bags of bonding/hardwall on domestics. Cheers

    It does as a last resort mate. Can be a right nightmare and a mixture of staples nails and adhesives! Can be a right ballache ...Plastic flexi beads are much better. The time you spend mucking about with stop Bead you might aswell hop in the van and go to a merchants for the flexi

    Evostick or uni bond pva. Diluted down. 2 coats of multi over the top.. (add a few handfuls of bonding to 1st coat if the pattern is deep). Multi finish is fine.

    Yes mate slurried for a key. I coated it on thick with a brush then stipple it with a roller. Scratched it today and it went on lovely :)

    It's not unfortunate it's dying out, personally I also think it look awful. it's unfortunate that there's hardly any lads left about that are doing it/ able to do it, let alone teaching it to younger lads like me! I take great pleasure in skimming over it tbh ££££

    Hi guys after some advice. Been asked by a builder to skim a kitchen and bathroom and then give the multi a waxed finish. Client doesn't want it painted just waxed. Has anyone ever done/heard of this? I have suggested venetian but client is adamant that this is the finish he wants. Thanks

    Sbr them thermalites to f**k. They will sick the life outnof your scratch coat if not. Eml the gap at the top.

    Yeah mate paid 40 hours a week. Job and knock if it's not stupid o'clock... Time and a half on Saturdays. Minimal stress. Hopefully. Can bump Into a few lads before I start.

    Yeah I checked them out on there.. Seem legit.. The offices and setup seemed pretty professional... They use their own special made pre bagged render for waterproofing. They supply a labourer and pay 150s a day on the cards with a van.. Could do worse.
