    Unstable wall

I've seen walls made of 3 sheets of plasterboard... 25mm baton as frame, 12.5mm screwed to that, 15mm board dabbed within frame to that, then 12.5mm board dabbed to that and screwed to baton. Like a plasterboard sandwich. Most of the internal walls were like that in a £900,000 town house in East...

To skim or not to skim...

Haha, risky territory... If I was expensive I'd get slated, if I was too cheap I'd get slated. Let just say I was very happy with the amount for a good days work [emoji6] Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk

To skim or not to skim...

All went fine, boarding was shockingly bad though, gaps everywhere, socket cut outs far to big, they'd put paper tape corners round the window and doors dobbed right out. Prep took ages. All done, they're happy and I'm paid Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk

Yeah gonna give it a go! Who knows, might get paid to do it twice ;-) I'm sure it says "plaster the other side" or something like that on the board doesn't it? Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk

Yeah I've got one of those iZettle Bluetooth ones. That must be the new one. I'm pretty sure it's 2.75% per transaction... Takes 4 working days to reach your account. Used it 4 times in 18 months, no one wants to pay the extra 3% I charge. Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk

    Hitachi tools

Yeah Hitachi radio is ok. Only FM and AM but you can plug in phone/ipod etc via phono lead. Can charge your phone off it too as has USB, annoyingly only when it's switched to Aux. So you can't charge your phone and listen to the radio... Bit of a design flaw IMO. I've had one for years... Sent...

Mummy's boy who just cant hack it!

Sometimes getting him to even leave the room he's staying in is hard enough. Sometimes he'll just stay in there for 3-4 days, barricades the door, won't talk. Other days he gets up goes to work as if all is ok. He has appointments with a counsellor, sometimes he goes, sometimes he doesn't. We've...

Mummy's boy who just cant hack it!

Wish I could get my brother to go. He's depressed, an alcoholic, self harmer... Just recently got divorced because of it, which hasn't helped either. Thought he'd hit rock bottom when he crashed his van recently driving to get food at 3am. Still convincing himself he doesn't have a problem...

    Plaster Dump Pile

If I could get a mini skip out the back I would though cos way cheaper. Lorry won't fit... Local trade waste site charges by the tonne so that's a no no. Rubbish is a pain! But I do add a bit to my price to cover it. Built in cost though so it can't be "knocked off" the price I'm all domestic...
