Rendering Needed - IG3 - Potential Immediate Start

Still an outsider though. You'll never be local. Probably not a bad thing.

    Molds

    They are expensive items.

    Molds

I think your problem will be what you consider "reasonable priced". @JessThePlasterer has some she'll sell, but I don't see why she'd sell for any less than their true value.

Does the scent not put your wife off?
  10. essexandy

    Corner trowel

    Pricing

So when you're pricing a job "as a whole", how do you come up with that figure? Do you look at each element of the build, or just magically come up with a big number? The fact you don't know anything about metreage rates suggests that you wouldn't be competitive on price, or even be suited to...

    Ocr preferred choice

To be honest Pete I don't think there's anything that will 100% stop micro cracks. We almost always apply Rendagrip first, put full mesh in the gear as well as fibres and still get cracks. In fact we sometimes decorate our renders and apply stabiliser before the paint, and this will show up...

We put fibres in Weber OCR, definitely cuts down on the micro cracks.

    Hindsight

As a labourer, having never touched a trowel or float in anger, being expected (and did) to climb onto a beer crate, balanced on a fifty gallon drum and render the top of a gable end of a house. No health and safety then.

Tenant complaints could soar with Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018

Absolutely right. One I've had for twelve years and had four different tenants without much in the way of mould. Last tenants turned it into a disgusting mould ridden mess over the lockdown period.
