    Our house was buit early 1500 ish, has some amazing features if you like old Houses, some amazing Beams, apparently some of them used in ships at Gloucter Docks. A covenent was placed on the timbers stating if possibly to be brought back to source to be recycled.

    i used to work with a old school spread. Had all these different lengths of cut down pieces of Oak skirting he aquired from a job years ago. Amazing rules, nice to use.

    For ages ive been back on my Marshaltown, wooden Handle carbon, 1 trowel start to finnish.Ok sometimes it doesnt work and i have to fill it with Filler.

    Mt T5 HAS 136,00 had drive shafts go, clutch & dmf Mt previous Tranny went on to do over 500,000, Depends partly on your luck i suppose.

    Nothing to loose then Vincey, when we made the move we were unhappy where we lived, poked up with s**t neighbours etc. S o we sold the house and went. Took the opinion of the House is like a car, if i dont like ill sell it and get another.Always plenty work about, just depends if you want to go...

    I did that emigrated from Hampshire/Surrey Borders. Now live in Rural Herefordshire/Welsh Borders. Most work is on old stone Cottages, get stuck behind the odd Tractor on the way to work.

    Bought meself a 16 Plate Transit Custom Limited on a Long Wheelbase. Its to replace my T5 which is a good van. Just fancied a change. Quite impressed so far. As Yesterdays and Todays job has been Cancelled not used it for work yet, dont want to get it dirty now, Lol.

    I got free MT Carbon from Direct Building supplies about 4 yrs ago, its worn beautiful. Ive given up with s*p*r*lex and all the other trowels, been back on the Carbon Steel for ages, reckon if i bought another it would`nt be as good.
