I've used spats n speed skims since they were out. We still close in with trowel to make sure it's proper flat. Had few teething probs at first. Looked ace but few imperfections when painted. Speed skims save us time. Can flatten 3-4 bags in no time.

the walls are 3 story gables. The property was knocked out and separated in the middle to form two blocks of town house apartments. So the new gables were in effect internal party walls that have been hacked off. Whats a guide for average m2 price on site for s&c? bearing in mind its prob 4...

Used a makita 18 volt lith yesterday n was beautiful. But wonderin bout the hilti one.

Flat is everything... shine only good when perfectly flat. Some lads one coatin with sponge on the job I'm on... looks ace. Till its painted...

I agree. Great on big areas. I use spat on everything. Nothing will ever speed the process up but definitely make it a lot easier.

:RpS_blushing: Just had a look at joining Walsall trade register. As its the nearest one to me (Wolves) and they want £80 plus vat to join per annum. Might try it it next year. They all cost money though! I should imagine you'd get one job a year at least to subsidise the join up fee.

Me too. Used the 1000 in the past. I use the 600. I can throw it around cables and sockets better. What order do you use them. i e. I speed skim, wet spat x2 and spat or plazzy cross.
