Yes mate it’s taken off in a big way down this way.
The majority of work we are carrying out is the Sas prowall cladding system
There’s a bit too it but it’s a good system through out
Bit of a pain trying to get the silicone finished in the colder months but we get there in the end!!

Parex mono is a one coat material so no need for a scratch coat
This wouldn’t help with drying out a even colour either I reckon

@Deri what did the finish come up like mate?
The ehi is very course.is it being painted as I’ve rubbed and sponged up mono and it looks ok but needs painting as the colour isn’t great
Cheers

We did the other elevations with no problems
I’ve used tons of different ocr brands now and I’ve found the finer aggregates,Weber/gpr do not like direct warm sunlight at all
I’ve used parmurex/Sas float coat and fassa with no problems.the grit is bigger mind
I was advised by a colleague of yours...
If the ibar is screeching the next day it’s too hard
Best to ibar before any scratch back
Spray late rub back early or love juice and a early spray

Yes I phoned the guy and he had no real answer.
To be honest it was warm and windy but still I must of had hundreds of cracks mate
Sprayed at 15mm in 2 passes
It’s too fine for my liking

Dan the key issue is the light weight blocks mate
What ever finish you go for the prep work is crucial as these blocks are not ideal for heavy renders
I would use a microgobtis type primer then sand cement or ocr with mesh through out.

It’s a brave choice putting it straight over the eps but I suppose that’s what it’s made to do
I personally wouldn’t use it
I’ve used parex ehi over Maite and it’s decent
I’d go for a thin coat system anyday due to the weight

My point was and still is if the customer doesn’t want to pay to use a breathable render then it’s there choice!!
I’m not going to worry about it at all
I’ll advice as much as possible
They own the house and its business for me my friend

We do lot of thin coat now and we spray it on at around 5mm with a serrated edge used
Mesh it and spat it flat
Apply a 1mm lay down coat and spat to finish
There’s tons of thin coat lads down my way now and not a straight edge/spat in sight
This will look dog s**t when the sun pings across it...
That render hangs for yonks due to polymer
Try a different render
Other way would be to leave over night like mono
I used that gpr mortar in the summer and had a thousand cracks the next day so haven’t used it since
