A house over the road from me is getting god knows what as a top coat. It's a stone built terraced house and on Wednesday last week they gave it a scratch coat, but today they gave it another scratch coat!!! Is that standard practice when rendering stone built houses?
Been a few weeks now trying to either get in with a labourer or getting in as an apprentice!! A load of phone calls and a load of e-mails done and sent. All with a no sorry mate :'(
But got 1 e-mail tonight saying that they are currently not looking for an apprentice, but they will be looking...
What are you telling me that a 2 week course will teach you the lot? Don't think so mate. But if it's to blow the cob webs away then why not do a wall and ceiling in your own house or a family member/friend who needs a bit doing ;)
The queer comment was meant as a joke ;)
As said by the lads a few times on the forum mate, go work as a labourer for a spread and start at the bottom and learn from him for about £40 a day. Remember that as an apprentice you only get £95 a week and you have to go to collage once a week.
