Suction isn't a good thing over Artex. If you're getting suction it means that water is getting through to the Artex and Artex is water soluble, even when it has been up there for decades.
Again, it's been quite some weeks since I had the chance to fish.
A lovely sunny day to be out even if you don't catch anything. Even better if you do!
I've had my license checked twice in forty six years mate and don't remember my old man ever having his checked before I was old enough to require one. That said some clubs will check them, even though they don't have the power to do anything other than stopping you fishing their water.
I used to use both the black handled carbons and the gray handled stainless Ragni's for many years. Cheap as you like, but really good trowels.
The stainless were lovely to trowel up with where there was suction.
Have you ever considered stopping being a clumsy c**t?
If you were to stop I'm pretty sure that you'd hardly ever smash another phone screen.
