Maybe? I wouldn’t spray knauf though. It blocks the machine and doesn’t sand well. I use jub p50 it’s the fastest drying

I agree with you. Think it’s more for painters. I had to go on a 2 day course 2 years ago, cause the guy I work for got a grant. There was 6 of us must be 300 each per day??? Easy money

I don’t do site work anymore so follow my own work. Do you think anybody you work with would be interested in learning to spray plaster? I’m not looking for names numbers anything just thinking of starting a new business teaching people

Dabbing goes perfect with airless. That’s all I do too mainly

The stud work/boarding needs to be pretty good but you can get away with s**t (same as skim) when uv used it fir a while. I’ve always said my finish will be as good as the boarding

What base coat are you using

Sounds like an idea just worried about cracking like Runwith was saying as Ms20 is cement based and not designed to go on cement board. What about treating the board as timber frame and fixing stainless sheet mesh to the cement board?

I’ve done plenty of thin coat just know it’s a different finish. Those 2 house are going be joined up in the middle with glass hallway

I’ve done the house next door in ms20 the customer wants the same sponge finish but the whole house is render board. Do you know of a product that is thin coat but with a sponge finish Thanks

Has anyone used MS20 over cement board? Thinking breathable membrane then mesh. Thanks

I went to look at a thin coat job today and the customer had already started to put the insulation on the outside of the building. This has split and moved in the weather. He wants to keep it on but I’m thinking it has to come off? Any thoughts?

It’s done with airless plaster bud. I couldn’t imagine skimming it would do my head in. ESP when the painters turn up with led head torches

Really think you would struggle to free hand this and get a good finish. Outside yeah defo freehand but inside needs to be bang on
