Just wondering if anyone knows the answer to this.

Not posted for a while. Been busy plastering inside- bad times!
Anyway last job i did i worked out I was using 1.5 bags of parex per m2. This is onto good blockwork (did it myself so I know it was plumb etc). So I seem to be using a shed load of gear as they say only 1...
I know les is great guy and knows his **** helped me out loads of times. I just want to know why you need this r and s so I can understand the craic with it as les never explained why in his post. Also Id rather not shell out the cash at the moment unless I really need to as Im...
Going to be doing some blanc du literal and Les told me to get a D42. Can someone explain what the difference between that and a twister d63 that I normally use for G00. They look to be both same speed? Id rather not shell out for clamp (presumably Id need a clamp as well) and everything...
got a monojet keith really like it. Got to say it puts a smile on your face when your used to hand batching and humfing wheel barrows about. Only used on about 8 jobs now as its mainly full builds I do and plastering/rendering as a side line. But hoping to do a load this year with it. All a bit...
The finish with a splatter box compared with trowel is way better. The finish is perfectly even, no marks where it has been thrown on which you can see with some roughcasters where its hurled on. Also you dont have to wait for it to stiffen up before you wet dash it. So its much quicker.
Looks like it would be brilliant for wet dash and you wont be so ****** at the end of the day. Do you think you would give it a go with wet dash? probably not much different from a tyrolean gun that what a lot of people uses now for wet dash.
thanks for advice whats a d42 is that a clamped r and s and is faster or slower than a d63 twister. Why does that make a difference. Sorry new to machines and dont understand much about r and s's. There seems loads of them!
Thanks for advice guys. Aye bags were sitting in container for quite a while so may have got slightly damp. I shall try serrated edge. so do you guys rule off both coats then? I thought first pass was just to kill suction so just horsed over it quickly with a trowel.
Building a house at the moment and customer wants pure white Parex blanc du literal mono.
I have only sprayed G00 monorex in the past. I have heard this pure white stuff is **** to spray and keep clogging air line etc, needs different r and s etc etc.
Any stuff I need to know about...
Have rendered my own house which is in a very wet and windy place using parex monorex G00 sprayed with a monojet. This was the first job I had used the machine in anger and also the first time using mono. Anyway we sprayed it in 2 passes. Roughly troweling first pass then ruling the second...
