    Hop ups ?

I used to use a few milk crates but you can't on some sites these days, when your working on higher ceiling I think these wider hop ups would easily give you your money back, having a bigger area to work off means you can cover bigger areas without getting up and down every time. Corners ??

I've always used a brush it was the way I was taught, it obviously makes work harder because in the early stages I have to trowel out the brush marks. I thought getting the corners crisper may have been a timing thing or a water thing I honestly don't know but I will take the advice on board...

So you don't use a brush at all to finish corners, your saying to run the corner trowel just down one wall of the corner ?????
