As a fibrous plasterer, I have been working in the UAE for the last 15 years. I arrived in the UAE at a young age, driven by my desire to overcome limited resources and poverty. Despite my family's reluctance, I left school and went to Saudi Arabia to work as a laborer for my paternal uncle. I quickly learned Arabic and acquired the skills of a fibrous plasterer under his guidance. After spending five years in Saudi Arabia, I returned home to spend time with my family before embarking on a new journey to the UAE, where my uncle had settled.
Initially, I worked as an assistant but my uncle encouraged me to apply for a license and become a supervisor or an expert in the field. After three more years of hard work, I obtained my license and completed numerous high-value projects, gaining many satisfied customers. Although I started off as a partner with an investor, I soon realized that I had little experience in financial management and decided to apply for a solo license.
In 2018, I started my own company, Metropolitan Technical Works, which steadily grew to employ 12 workers. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic caused business to slow down, prompting me to consider relocating to another country to continue my work as a fibrous plasterer.

As a skilled fibrous plasterer with 15 years of experience, I bring a wealth of expertise and dedication to my craft. My journey in this field began at a young age when I left school and started working as a laborer in Saudi Arabia. Despite limited resources and the reluctance of my family members, I was driven by my passion for this trade and my desire to succeed.
Over the course of five years, I mastered the skills of fibrous plastering and quickly became an expert in the field. My uncle, who was impressed with my work, encouraged me to apply for a license and start working as a supervisor or chief. After spending three more years in Saudi Arabia, I returned home, got married, and set off to the UAE, where my uncle had settled. I soon acquired my license and began working on a variety of high-value projects that earned me a reputation as a skilled and reliable contractor.
Although I started out as a partner with an investor, I eventually realized that I needed to take control of my financial matters and apply for a license solo. This decision led to the creation of my own company, Metropolitan Technical Works, which has steadily grown to employ 12 workers. Over the years, I have completed multiple projects in the Gulf region, earning the trust and satisfaction of my clients.
Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, I am eager to continue pursuing my passion for fibrous plastering. Immigrating to a new country presents a new set of opportunities, and I am excited to explore new cultures, meet new people, and learn new techniques and methods. With my experience, dedication, and expertise, I am confident that I can make a valuable contribution to any project or company. I am committed to working hard, continuing to grow my skills, and making a positive impact in my new home.
I would really appreciate if anyone could help me find a good company to get employed or investors who would open a joint venture.
