Does anybody have expertise with Sovereign materials? I’m used to Sika and only used this stuff once years ago.
Got a 90m2 basement that has to be spot on so any advice on using this gear would be appreciated.

We did that sovereign system years ago on Preston college . There was around 10 stages of it to do following the spec sheet . It worked perfect though stopped the damp and that was a big job around 200 metres

Yes it was a slurry coat called ready something. An anti funcal spray all different stages the rep came out with our gaffer and went through the stages of it . Wasn't difficult though

Cheers mate. The sika one seems more solid but if it works it works. Layer after layer. As you know it’s got to be right, can’t cut corners where water is concerned.

Yes it definitely works. We applied the slurry with big block brushes and floated it in that renderlite stuff . It was over 10 years ago I remember it being loads of stages though we was on it for weeks

Yes mate, good stuff, had a good local rep too

Was a really helpful bloke, (that helps)

Didn't talk like a spaniel

He retired 2021

They do have good back up and technical though. Good and accessible

I think Bostik have bought them since

Now you have to buy things in a different way, and they're moving all the call centres and technical over.

Nice one Bobski. Good to hear it’s good stuff, nothing worse than fighting the materials.
Will study the techy stuff so I’m well prepared not to balls it up.

A spaniel like I like that

Got this when I did their tanking course about 25 years ago - it covers the whole instal of the Hey’di system. I’m happy to send it to you if you think it would help, but you’d need a VHS recorder to play it on.

Not sure I know anybody with a vhs

Most of our childhood was recorded and held on it (tapes).

Not sure I'd be able to see it back now.
