In my case I had lime used. I hear this should make it more flexible and last a bit longer...
To be fair the gutter was misaligned... so during this winter I had water streaming down this section where the cracks formed. So my lime aint dodgy then? I wouldnt have thought 3 months of rain would still be enough for cracks to form in decently mixed/applied render?
Or am I overestimating render durability and underestimating persistent dmage that water can do over even a period of months.
I had water come through the other side form the cracks btw.
Thanks.
