After reading something on here about a plastic lad being more forgiving on your body I invested in a 14 inch Refina plasiflex . For 35 years I’ve used an 11 and thirteen inch carbon steel marshal towns which are great. Is it just me or are the plastic ones shite, just can’t seem to get the finish. Smooth but not flat and loads of tiger stripes . More time wasted f**k**g around and still have to steel trowel it

There for the final wipe of the wall mate or ceiling I’ve had one before but f**k*d it off after a few years kept getting nicks and got sick of sanding them out there ok but I think there pretty pointless for what they are,you may be better trying a mediflex

I honestly do not see any point of a plastic trowel used on a daily basis. It could “possibly” be useful in the right scenario?

I really don't get it, I've got three trowels two Marshalltown's a carbon and a SS and a SS tyzack.
The tyzack is the daily driver for skimming start to finish. If I've got a lot of bonding/hardwall to do I'll use the Marshalltown SS.

I’ve got a marshaltown as I only use for render, I find it too rigid
