Can someone give me a rough idea of cost for boarding 90m2 ceiling including insulating. 3m high. Part is 300mm fibre glass part is 100mm celotex and 52.5mm insulated board on the rake of the roof.
It’s a new build
Labour only

What’s the easiest way you price up without spending what feels like an age looking into it.

Thanks

Day rate X days.
Sounds like the easiest way for you!

Ages spent looking into it is money well spent and future experience gained. Even if you do go day rate. Makes you think thru' how you're going to do it & end up rushing/losing out.- What are you fixing to and how? Rolling scaffold tower or step ladders/other? Or to few trestles and time spent moving them around? Rafter centres can change the materials quants and amount of cutting/effort a lot. How heavy is the thick board on the rake and how you going to hold it up to fix it?

It's funny, when someone says you can do the job on day work if you like . Because it looks awkward. So you tell him £250. Lab £100. All good. Now how many days, you say not sure, about 5 ish. 3 days in he says you will be finished Friday won't you. Now you've got the hump. I don't do day work.
