but this stuff your suppose to put on then let dry then hit it does this stuff re emulsify I can't see it having any bonding properties as it's just a high suction primer I'd feel better with cementone grit with sbr in it which it says you can thin it down with no finish is falling off that fuuker
 
tbh my technological knowledge is not the best I will phone them in the morning and reply , madmonk I always dismissed using gyprime until about a year ago when I was told it was fine ,honest truth is I never knew and kind of thought the same , since then and using it it's been gorgeous to skim over , soaks into the surface rather than drying on top , and money wise I think it works out cheaper to just gyprime and crack on skimming after 10 minutes rather than stabiliser then paste on the grit then wait a day to skim , compared to pva sometimes like op I'd happily pay and use gyprime (4-1) than pva, there is no comparison tbh on some s**t up crap walls I skim over most days
Bg say bond it or gyprime is ok to skim they don't say anything else is , that's up to us lot if we do

If it works for you with no problems continue. We all do things with materials not to spec at times and they work.

Drying it out too quick then crazing.
U know Victorian building.
Really don't want to take any chances on this one.never used the stuff but any alternative ideas welcome.

Hi mate how did you get on with the sand lime bricks? Currently debating to use gyp prime for dot and dab?
