Unsupported overboading, no ceiling joist by wall

Hopefully the titles says it all but I'm in a pickle, is there a way to support the edge of the plaster board on the ceiling where there is no joist running along the wall? (Please see pics).
There is a giant wasps exactly where I would go and install noggins if I could.

I was wondering if there is some product that could brace it from below that might look a bit like internal beading that is thin enough to plaster over that I could screw to the wall.

I've seen similar threads but not many replies unfortunately.
I will most likely tile the walls in this bathroom so as long as it's thin metal it would be well hidden.
Thanks in advance and yes I know it was overkill with the screws!

So you fecked up when putting it up and realised afterwards? Really you should take it all down and do it properly, not look for a bodge.
Option 1 Bodge is a small batten then cover it all with a coving
Option 2 bodge - squirt crazy foam in the gap and hope the expansion above holds it when you cut back below, probably will.
Option 3 - cu tback the board to the nearest joist, put in the wall batten, and maybe another on the joist for width, then put plasterboard back u,p and fill the board gap you tape it.

Ps don't be a poof, wasps stings aint nuthing to what they can do to you on here!

You have put the board up with the joists . The board must span the joists. useless t**t.

Take the board off and put on in some wood as a support. The wasps will be dormant or very slow as its getting cold.
