Does anybody in here have any idea how to go about getting a job on big sites? I’ve been working for myself for 6 years now plastering and rendering and I’m fed up of constantly quoting jobs in my spare time, I’d like to find a company that just takes on plasterers so I can turn up do my graft and go home and not think about pricing the next job, cheers

You'll be taking a backwards step going to work for someone else having to work twice as hard for half the money it's a crazy idea

Go to a big site and ask for a job

Agree with Elite...backward step pal

quoting for jobs might seem a ball ache but if private/domestic work is keeping you busy stick with it.

Turn yourself into a site monkey and you'll end up working like a t**t to try and earn half decent money and quality will go straight oot the fkin window

Why work on a site? 20% tax deducted every week. the tax office have only got to put an investigation on you and that could take up 5 years . with no rebate.
the first day is lost with site induction.
2% CITB deduction.
10% retention. anyone who thinks about working on a site needs a check up from the neck up!
