Yes mate I always jet wash first to remove all s**t had no call backs!.... Changed me number 3 times this year

It ain't coming off if free from flaking paint I done loads over painted dash, tyrolean never had no come back I do go to town with jetwash beforehand though! Rendergrip is brilliant stuff one of best products to happen in the plastering world imo!

I actually use rendagrip indoors for poor surfaces if I'm dabbing boards on done whole properties this way for a few years now is bang on

i usually go over paint with a wire attachment on a grinder and score end with cuts then grit.
That my plan grinde most of paint. Render grip over it

Fk spec done loads over solid painted dash ect paid no comebacks sleep easy at night!

Obviously the rendagrip manufacturer won't stand by going over painted substrates there's too many variables and you'd have clowns trying to sue them after rendering over flaking paint. Grind, wire brush, jet wash and whatever paint is still on the wall rendagrip over that.
