Get the gloves , get the cream but just as important drink more water @zombie

And be sure to get enough zinc, vitamin D, and healthy fats (omega 3, avocado, etc.) in your diet. These all affect the skin. (y)

Home Bargains do a fairly decent lightweight glove for £1 a pair. Light enough to let your hand breath and they feel comfortable even when worn for a couple of hours at a time.

I think they're branded Spear & Jackson - the ones I'm on about are flourescent green.

Tiger grip gloves on amazon are decent, strong and thin so you can feel when your skimming etc.

I don't think @zombie is an avocado munching type of person?

I use the red and black ones from screw fix but they are quite warm too , better for outside than in
Also the aqua blue ones by ox they sell they are totally water proof I like those ones for when s**t is really getting hardcore wet etc
