Hi all

Not done a lot of external or krend before and been talked into a freebie for the mother in law...she wants this k rended...

Would you use hp base coat and mesh for this small area or just two coats of k rend with no mesh....

Do.you think there will be discolouration issues with the soil etc...

Any pointers be grateful

Or would traditional s & c be better for this situation
That going to discolour no matter what render you use . Water will get through the joints in the coping stones eventually. I'd just use a pre bagged render and let them paint it

What pre bagged gear your suggest

Weber ocr nice to use
So use weber?? What the best paint for that product?? I've got the same water ingress lines on my front wall (krend) from seepage between coping stones...can tjis be painted ?? If so what paint is appropriate for k rend ??

A good sand and cement covered by a good paint will outlast mono on that. Mono would be Mingin in less than 12 months.
If they really want mono I’d paint a tanking slurry on to hold the water back and use a good quality sealer afterwards like Stormdry.
