Whos currently working???

Why's it complex? Add up my.last 3 self assessment profits and then divide by 3. Then deduct 20 per cent and send me the rest. Simples
I think the worst thing they did considering tax year ends tomorrow is not let businesses do this year's tax return first. They've shafted alot of new companies.
They also aren't doing it pro rata. So if you started 2 years and a month ago to the day, then they'll take your 2 tax returns and divide by 2 even though your first year you only traded for a month

Yea times that by a few million people , plus the paye lot needs to be sorted
Its all on computer. Simple algorithm If it was the other way around and we owed them, you'd have already had your bill.
But i still don't think we'll ever see a penny of it, if I'm honest. Hence kicking it into the long grass for three or four months.

Any word fom @cockney hope they are both alive.
Anybody sparking cans or spirits yet
Most plasterers are mad alkys

Funny they didnt mention it when they announced we should sign on to universal credit isn't it?
Exactly rishi and Boris wanted to give us 94 a week , never ever forget it.
Matt Hancock and Boris still can’t get enough PPE out to care homes and hospitals.
Not to mention letting Cheltenham festival go on lol.

Tories have lost me as a voter during this pandemic. Utter s**t show from top to bottom.

How? We've already sent them off and paid our tax on it

It's nice to hear someone who voted Tory say it how it is tbh and not just say they're doing a good job. Can't remember who it was but someone started a thread to say thank you Boris and Tories for the 80%, when they had been dragging their feet for a week and finally caved to opposition and media pressure.

Allowing Cheltenham to go ahead was an embarrassment

If it wasn’t for corbyn I would of voted labour last election as my fiancé works for NHS and I know the s**t she goes through.

Boris has f**k*d this up non stop. All that confusion if people could go to work , saying its a lockdown when it isn’t. They’ve had 3 months to organise tests and PPE its a scandal people think they are doing a good job.

I think they’ve done well under the unprecedented circumstances

whilst you are still earning so therefore getting double ?
Well that's their policy to allow that which is stupid. Should be if you claim and you have money hitting your account in that time then you'll owe the money back or be investigated. Leave it up to us to claim or not, and the punishment be the same as lying on your tax return if found out

No different to any other country everyone in same boat...nobody had/has providmsions for an event like this or we would all be paying 75% tax.

Prick

So you think it would have been any different under any other government labour or conservative in history?

Prick

We've created the perfect storm for this. 50,000 front line vacancies in NHS, and EU nurses and doctors leaving the NHS has gone up 20% in the last 4 years. Underfunded and understaffed. Would we have been in a good position to fight this? No, noone could have a health service that could deal with this. Would we have been in a better position? Undoubtedly
If we were in a better position to start with would we have needed as long a lockdown and so much damage to the economy? No as the capacity and therefore breaking point of NHS would of been higher

An NHS without vacancies? You've just voted for a man who promises 40 new hospitals, so I suppose we can afford that? Now that's a fairytale alright

Under funded??? Are you serious?? How many more billions do we keep throwing at it?
Clamp down on health tourism for a start !!

Building more hospitals will not improve the health of the population.
We should be building more schools and educating young folks on healthy eating, exercise and preventing the cause of future ailments.

NHS is like taking a knife to a gun fight!

To many people taking out with out giving from to many higher management staff & not enough nurses to council estate rats & immigrants abusing the system.

The idea is wonderful but sadly unsustainable!

Well it's been around a long time, and it's very sustainable.
