I don’t think anyone just out of the blue posts saying something like ‘I’ve made a grand today’ it just comes up every now and then. We all plaster for the money so naturally it’s gonna be part of the convo on a work forum

Price workers can sometimes be like gamblers, telling you about the wins but not the losses. Saw a tiler on site, told me he'd smashed £££s blah blah today....next day all day grouting and loading out :rolleyes:
Same with spreads " smashed £££s blah blah today...
. Doesn't tell you he'd spent half a day before scrimming and beading ..

my brother told renderers onsite to f**k off with there bullshit oli.
fella going on about £400 for a wall
took him 3 days prep/coat/finish

I'm going to spend my wages on getting finley some clothes today and a new chest freezer.
maybe a beer fridge to go with it (y)(y)

then I'm skint again :numberone:

Never once have I seen Chris brag about his earnings, quite the opposite in fact.
@algeeman I've not been less cash rich in the last twenty five years, but I feel more wealthy than ever. Money definitely isn't the be all and end all.

If that was mono that's extremely slow going mate it wouldn't pay to do one wall at a time
