What advice would you give the jo public if they want a plasterer?

How would you go about finding one?

what tips/warning signs would you give to help then from picking a cowboy?

Anything you as plasterers like when a customer calls?

Thanks :D

Choose the highest price.
:)

Then eventually, it'd do our trade some good and we'll earn what we should be entitled to.

If you are a milf always wear the the correct gear for when the plasterer calls to quote your job .

........Just saying.

Definitely not to advertise jobs on bidding sites like my builder , reasons why because
1.(don’t get me wrong a few trades are ok on there ) it’s full of fraudster and total blaggers
2. They charge all there members a fee to even look at a your job to quote meaning a lot of the poor sods loose money all the time trying to buy work
3. You could easily find a local tradesman to do a decent jobs on google within 5 to 10 miles of your house thus supporting local businesses in your area especially after brexit which is what the country needs .

other advice I’d say trust your tradesman to get on with there work , by all means be at your property to make sure everything is ok if that’s how you feel but keep out there way to let them crack on , don’t mean that in a funny way either, most can be or prefer to be left on there own and won’t steel your t.v

So many gung ho tradesman around it's ridiculous...they don't think about what they are doing...just put in the cheapest price...use the cheapest materials...and offer the cheapest quickest solution for the property whether suitable or not...I guess you can probably tell which ones they are as they are the ones which don't work smart...always in a rush, will spend little time explaining options to customers...

I would be wary of any spread who had not heard of Beadtape, as it would imply that they were not members of the plastering forum meaning they would not be clued up to the latest plastering innovations and ideas.

You can only put your price in . Win some loose some .

A no no for me is asking for money before jobs started . If theres alot of materials i say they need to be paid for when they have been delivered

Don't even joke at the begining of last year I under quoted by a full day to one customer, she asked how much and all I could think was I wouldn't mind 5 seconds with you and before you all think 5 sec anyone would have been hard pushed to last any longer !

It’s very much like any business you’re drawn to it by a few factors! Quality and like ability! It’s not a coincidence I get my meat from the same butchers 1- there meat is banging
2- the girl that serves me is hot as f**k
I see myself this way a nice bit of meat and handsome as f**k:tanguero:
