Couldn't agree more with the above, that was just a 'for instance'
I ignore these bundles and haggle direct. Had some great deals this year. Last December especially so . That said if you offset the price of an Xbix against that price I think it works out all right

Wack

20 wall starters
500 wall ties
9 4" dpc
120 gloves
2 12" diamond discs
£399

Get free Apple air pods worth £159

I got air pods from Apple as xmas prezzie to give for £160
@ I'm sure I could get all that building gear under £240 ! No incentive if you do the maths, but big pull for buyers dept of the bigger construction companies that don't care as long as they grab the freebies !

24 cans foam adhesive , 1 gun cleaner , 1 teflon pro gun £77.50 + vat , free delivery

I can never be bothered with all that shopping around/haggling carry on. I just don't have the patience for it, or maybe too lazy. I get my 'good deal' by sticking a percentage on top whatever the price is.

I ordered 20 packs of 7n blocks the other day from EH Smith. The rep said "I can do those for £9:99 inc VAT per square metre!" and looked really chuffed about it. Her face fell a bit when I replied "Thanks. Is that a good price then?"

Im exactly the same "convenience is king" for me I must waste a fortunere over the years but i really don't care!

I think it's my mixture of Scottish/Yorkshire blood , take after my Dad; he wouldn't give a door a slam. Hate paying more than a penny over, plus its convenience, I keep all my stock at home so only ever have to buy bags or boards

I should do so much more but dont know how to buy off internet!

All the merchants I deal with hate me I'll bid them down on a box of screw's, I'll Google prices while I'm bartering and show them and get them to match, I can't help it it's instinct

Same here , more convenient and it's pretty much half price if not more

I do admire people who do that, I just can't seem to find the energy to be 4rsed with it. Anyway, the time I save on haggling means I can fit in a visit to Costa for a Latte to sip whilst I make lists get on with project management. (y)

Mate no need to go online, lad I deal with on the phone. I tell him to put me together a bundle, I tell him too expensive...
....knocks it down...
..still too expensive.
.. knock it down....
Right I'll take it now what can I have for free as well. Mixer, radio, trowel etc. It's delivered to my house next day , pay for it in 2 months. (I pay £10 a week so final bill is low,)

Lol I haven't seen lines like that since @Nisus , how is he these days?

Suffering a bit this week. It's cold so there's been no ice cream and he had to use a shovel two days in a row. On top of that he's having to work across the border (in Coventry) so it's taking a bit of adjusting. Asking for a batch was bad enough, but he thought I was winding him up when I asked for f****t and peas from the chippy. He only went 'cause I was paying.

There are deals and there are deals. I buy a fair bit of stuff off internet and eBay, especially when doing bathrooms...made a lot of money that way.

I hate doing bathrooms to the point where I'll only take one on as part of a full refurb.

I bet the fcuking love you.

"Answer the phone!"
"No, it might be that tight fcuker. He makes me want to scream."
"Never. And I mean never ever, say that when he can hear you!"

Given how tight you lot are I think you might have wept if you'd seen us today. I had some left over multi, dab and bonding along with a bag of @Vincey 's new favourite product that had been sitting in the unit which was a month out of date. So we chucked it all into the hardcore for the extension floor.
