very nice Algee. I spent yesterday lying on back...under my rusty old van. Knew it needed a couple of patches welding, but there’s more new metal than old now and still loads to do!
Mine went in last week. Said he may as well just order 2 new steps instead of f**k**g about

same here John. Knew it had a little hole at the front of both steps, but always tip of the iceberg. Got spring hangers to finish off, then ordering 2 steps, inner and outer sill. Quickest way in the end, too fiddly to start patching...just cut the lot out and start again. You can get both sides of eBay for about £160.

I reckon it would easily have cost me £1000 to get work done, but I’ve got a few flexible jobs on at mo so can justify using my own time to do it. Usually get most jobs done at garage these days, as I can’t be arsed, but welding is a licence to print money.
