If you patch it, when it’s painted you will see it and your customer will blame you. You have to warn her of things like this also anything you do ov er what is already there relies on there stuff staying on the wall. Look at the job and think how you would do it for your own house then price accordingly and tell her why you will do it that way, if she disagrees tell her to walk away in jerky movements or just to f**k off because you can’t guarantee it doing it the way she wants

Yeah understand pal basically they have patched this in but just haven' fadding it in or nothing I'm thinking if I skim whole ceiling my first coat should get over it .. but I know what you saying .
Think you better overboard that, it looks like a sack of s**t

It definitely needs overboarding mate. 100% sure. Get some dirty knickers from the milf and post pics

Wish TF we had overboarded the job I'm on now. Full kitchen revamp and the plasterer I have with me did all the making walls right then skim plus sorting the ceiling out. The ceiling before was a f**k**g mess. Unibonded all walls and ceiling. Had it looking excellent then I get a phone call part of the ceiling has blown! I'm f**k*d for time to get this finished for xmass and this is the last thing I needed. It's either the unibond wasn't dry(tacky enough) or it's been me and the electrician running about about the ceiling in the attic. First time this has ever happened to us. Other plasterer is excellent at what he does so it's not as if he's a cowboy. So have to go in tomorrow red faced to explain how we're going to sort this.

Yes I convinced to overboard as reputation is at line . I can' be dealing with problems . Thanks all cheers .

That's what this family will be like now after seeing this ceiling. They know me and know I never leave a bad job but when things like happen, they panic and I get paranoid! Lol.

As for the flood, same thing happened to me in this house. Removing all tiles from the kitchen floor that's been down 30 years and while removing the mahagony door frame that was buried 2.5 inch into the screed I hit the heating pipe. Buried right under the door frame along with mains pipe and some cables. Another shocking set up that could have cost me my life. Irish builders years ago need locking up.
