I'm trying to tidy up a bit of a mess on my kitchen walls where I've got a mix of different levels and also a mix of plaster and bare plasterboard that was painted. im going to use gyprock easifill on a small unplastered area to try and even out the different levels. My question is...
Yes that's terrible too. The problem is because he painted aswell and we didn't spot the full horror of his work till it had had a variety of different lights on it everything is back in the room. Might have to wait till spring when everyone can face it again I'm just wondering what to do next...
We've bought an orbital sander to try and improve things as much as possible. But this won't sort out the waves and bumps in the ceiling, will it? I'm worried my only option now is over boarding.

I'm hoping for a bit of advice. I've just had someone in to re-skim a room, install coving and paint. Ceiling was a skim over artex and walls a straight re-skim. In all honesty it's been left in a worse condition than it was to begin with.
We've never had a whole room...
