Thanks. He’s already come back for the ceiling, filled the holes and trowel marks. Bubbles still there. I know how to do the rest from advice on this forum.

I knew sites like TrustATrader were bad so I used other sites. I thought Which? was a good site? Also he has 20 Google reviews which aren’t fake (I’ve checked the posting history), coupled with 20 on Which?, plus Yelp. I’m not a local so I can’t ask for recommendations, I don’t think I’ve been...

It wasn’t a day, it was nearly four days and a team of three ( weren’t there on all days/all the time).

Again I’m not really sure of why I’ve received so much animosity. I’m asking so I learn from the mistake. No one is forcing someone to give advice, it can only help consumers like myself. Knowledge is power.

Again I didn’t prep, I removed as much plaster as I could. Cheap? People can charge whatever they want and on the other thread I was told I paid too much.

I didn’t do the prep. I painted the wall when I came across the issue of the plaster being crap. So I removed as much as I could, kept on painting, repeat. I didn’t do any prep, that’s not prep.

Why? I’m hire happy to share it. I just don’t understand the animosity on this forum. I’m asking a genuine question to help me and the majority of the posts have been unwelcome. Just why.
