Alright lads! Been doing general building for last 8 years and over that time I've worked with a few spreads and picked up on how to do the basics, really enjoy doing the job! 'Some say I'm bonkers!' Would love to get into it full time if I could get in with somebody to fully learn everything...

Cheers for all the tips lads! Thing that makes me nervous is that Ide be a self employed improver with some experience, not a fully trained spread so if I was looking for a weeks work somewhere surley I'll be less attractive than a proper spread?
Alright lads! As some of you might no from previous posts etc I'm looking to get with a spread full time to learn the trade fully, I've just spoke to a chap that wants a improver, he seemed really keen to take me on, but said I would have to go self employed, this isn't a problem for me as I'm...
Thing is I'm trying to get as good as I can at the moment even if it is just prepping and skimming, until I find a job with a spread full time I'll take on any plastering job just to get the experience. I'm not charging him he just bought me a new refina mixer ;)
