Hi, got an old cottage which needs some TLC. Basic wall construction is stone/rubble with varying finishes - mostly lime plaster. Sitting room is a different matter. I'm no expert (hence why I'm here) - but this room looks to have been rendered ( the surface/material is literally rock hard)...
