Thanks! Should I PVA the wall first?

Hi Everyone I'm after some advice, I recently chopped off some tiles in my kitchen to reveal a load of shite. Some areas have a bit of finish left on, some have the old grout and some areas it's browning. I'm after putting glass onto the wall but only 300mm around the worktops. What would you...
