I have about 10 times, lighting, mains powered thermostat etc/ also had a whole wall go live before as electrician hadn't covered cables properly (I plastered them in). It's always been a big thump for me, definitely gets the heart rate up but quite funny afterwards!

The same ones that complain the moneys s**t in plastering and their joints are f**k*d. Do as little as possible for as much money as possible, quite simple.

Update - the weirdo messaged me out of no where today saying it's all done and took 5 hours.. I mean none of the angles are straight and he's buried what were once sockets but I'm pleased for him. I thought it best to just ignore him, I'm sure he'll give me and update again in a few months anyway.
