hi mate last time i put coving up on freshly skimmed walls i used dry wall adhesive its stayed up there and not had any probs in the past

bad here too had 1 days work since xmas. starting back on the taxis thurs,fri,sat to keep ticking over, can also give out flyers at same time, hopefully pick up a few jobs with out having to drop prices just too secure it. if you do it cheap once they expect it all the time.

working weekends is ok means the customers make the tea. but they also tend to peer over your shoulder all day

sorry to hear that mate where was the course, also make urself a plaster board wall up with some batten. and u can just keep skimming over it to get your speed backup

The ceiling was crap. The foreman said "Show me a worse ceiling than that and I won't sack you" The plasterer said "Come through here. Look at that one." The foreman said "You're right, that is really shite- Who did that one?" The plasterer said, "I did". ;D

crap christmas eve was my last job,having to go back taxi driving till it picks up. will have to put up with plastered plasterers instead lol

took out a 12 week add in local paper didnt get 1 call all my work comes from leaflets, but only from ones iv delivered myself.

i use liquid nails or instant grab to attach beading, works a treat and is really quick. dose anyone else use it

yeh i thought so too but i bought a internal trowel and got an external with it and thought id give it a try. wish i never bothered now

hi all dose anybody use external corner trowels, i tried one today it just ripped the plaster off prob done it wrong but i think il stick to beading

hi dose anyone do polished plastering, is there a call for it and would it be worth doing a course for it.

i would go with bonding. already done most of their house just wonderd if anyone else dose any different
