    Parex render

That's exactly where mine had been kept I think the damp had got to it. Like I say after I scratched mine up it took a few days to be a consistent colour where you couldnt see the light bits......I would expect in this weather it would dry pretty quickly. I also put paraguard on after. For me I...

    Parex render

I had that on some parex mono T20 - I made the mistake of using some old stuff (still in date) left over from another job.....I think it was small lumps which wasn't mixed properly a total of 270kg laid on(3 bags old 6 new stuff).......luckily for me after a few days of being scratched up it all...

    New trowel case coming soon

I think I paid £38 inc vat and del for the putz one........I thought that was dear for a box and some foam tbh..... Granted this one does look slightly more robust.

    Deals down home base

I was only looking at hand/power tools and building / plastering consumables, it was a massive improvement on the homebase days. Maybe the branches are different then. Oh I did look at some of the timber and it was all bent and twisted like bananas.......

    Deals down home base

That's the one down waterhouse lane? I'm talking about the one in basildon it's very accessible which I like, I didn't see any OZ power (even the name sounds rubbish) there.....they had some ragni / ox tools at the lower end... Their pricing was pretty fair as well I thought.

    Deals down home base

Just opened a Bunnings near me in Essex, right on the A13 it was a Homebase which was next to useless, overpriced, s*it tools / no range, no staff .....It's pretty well stocked now, plenty of staff, good range of trade quality tools Marhshalltown, makita, dewalt etc....Screwfix always p*isses me...

    Plaziflex

I've got the plazi flex with the foam back so guess it'll stay in the trowel case for now as I get great results with MT and nelaflex 2.................was only the youtube video made think I'd give it a go, as the RWF chap had great results, shame I couldn't manage it...........

    Plaziflex

I'm using a nelaflex 2 at the moment for that, are there any benefits using the plazi instead?

    Plaziflex

Well thanks for that, and yes I had seen the RWF vid and was very impressed as a newcomer, but just found my plazi was scratched to F.....at the end of it. I have removed scratches with fine wet and dry.........So from now on will only final polish, is that wet or dry?

    Plaziflex

I'd seen some tips on youtube regarding the 2nd coat but just found any contact with the hawk scratched the hell out of it...........so what is the actual intended used for the plaziflex?.....Polish or flatten

    Plaziflex

Anyone else have problems when putting near an aluminium hawk, scratches the hell out of my refina plaziflex when I take the excess skim off. Some say you can second coat with these but I just found the scratching was mullering my trowel......

    Sponge float!

Tried the sponge after watching RWF067 videos, looks like a great finish on the videos, but for me was a disaster, had to trowel the hell to remove lines caused by the sponge. Obviously had my timings all wrong but the experience put me off using it again.

How long should it take to apply multi

Thanks for all the comments, I'll just keep at it and I'm sure speed will come.

How long should it take to apply multi

Hi Beader, well yes for me the job has to be tidy and ideally none on the floor, which is where I'm at now.....I was just surprised when it should've really taken half the time and I wasn't sure if it was BS as like I said I was sweating up big time.
