working on a job thats used metal lintels instead of concrete,never used these before,aparently u can plaster straight to them for reveals no mesh needed,know they have built in key but still looks far too smooth to work well,any one any thoughts
cheers plaster man thats exactly it,its what we do most,finish doesn't make a difference just bit worried bout the background,thinking of scud with pva then finish onto that,rather get 2 coats but it'll bring it out over reveal
have to do a nap finish over a wall that had been pebble dashed,the dashing has been chipped off but the background still looks very smooth to me,seems like whoever done the chipping didn't get right under the dashing leaving couple of mil of that coat flattened onto wall,would like to get it...
cheers good to hear whats actually happening over there,hear so many big money stories from canada at the moment,spread i was working with has headed out to edmonton and he reckoned he'd be on equivalent of 1200euro,tempting but does that sound right,couldn't be worse than here at the moment
