Would you batten it floor to ceiling, or just batten the top and dab the bottom half out level with it? Regs have also asked for 25mm of insulation, so was thinking using the celotex insulated boards, or would insulated between battens be better with normal board over. Thanks

So this is the wall, blockwork on the bottom half juts out from the top, as above close up pics show. Need to get it all flush, level top to bottom. Will be hanging some wall cupboards here, so weren't sure of best way to do it?

Currently converting an previous space and have come across a problem hopefully someone can help with. Two walls are thicker on the bottom half than the top, giving approx. a 20-50mm lip throughout the middle. I've attached some pictures to show it better. Walls are back to the blockwork...
