The ceiling heights are 2.35m, and no the ceiling doesn't move when someone is walking upstairs.

The ceiling is not too high so we don't want to loose any more height by using plaster board. Thus, our preference for using plaster.

Could you specify the brand of PVA that you use? Also, would you recommend using Thistle MultiFinish Plaster after applying PVA?
