Use sbr straight, do not water it down the whole point is the kill the suction and seal the wall

Hi I know blue grit is designed for smooth low suction backgrounds, but I find it eats the gear and isn't as easy to plaster over as sbr is, could I just use sbr on all these surfaces ( existing plaster, painted walls, internal render and bonding?)
