I've got some really heavy radiators I want to attach to insulated plasterboard that has brought the wall out around 60mm.
The guy that did the first fix plumbing recommended chopping out where the rad brackets are to go and dub in with something the fixings could bite on to.

Am drylining a kitchen and have a lot of leftover soundboard from the ceiling and not enough 12.5mm. The walls are done in a textured masonry paint. Will thistle drywall adhesive be strong enough to hold the much heavier boards?

It's been ok so far this winter with just the bare brick and zero insulation and 1 radiator for the whole place. Mind you I have no heating bill to compare to as it's my first winter in this house. Am hoping to install a weapons grade heating system and add an insulation layer to the outside...
