I'm not sure myself. Trying to work it out.

    Is this a bad job?

Hard to tell if that's reflections or not?

    Is this a bad job?

Definitely seems the best route to actually see their work as good work can be subjective to each person.

    Is this a bad job?

That is exactly my experience. It definitely looked and felt spot on or I wouldnt have payed him.

    Is this a bad job?

It was £300 for the plastering. £120 to reboard the slope. See my original reply to pl plastering mate. I really didn't think it was overly cheap no. Maybe I was delusional but i certainly wasn't being cheap. Pay cheap pay twice. Definitely will learn from it though and maybe avoid cash in hand...

    Is this a bad job?

Lol true. What does worry me about plastering however is it can look pretty good before painting so by that time you've already handed over the cash.

    Is this a bad job?

You're right mate, I appreciate your advice and it's been taken on board. I had 3 quotes. £450 £300 and £300 so I just went with the most popular quote, but as you said I should have went with recommendations rather than just prices. Noob mistake but it was my first time getting a plasterer so...

I have nothing to gain from lying mate.

    Is this a bad job?

2 days, and I agree if you look for problems you'll find them but you really didn't even need to shine any light on it to he honest. Natural daylight was enough. Lesson learned I suppose. I'll know prices next time, but its frightening to think these sort of 'plasterers' exist regardless of how...

    Is this a bad job?

Hopefully to help stop a dodgy tradesman from gaining more customers? I'm sure I'm not the first to have a bad plasterer in their house. I dont have any possible monetary gain from it, you're right, but hopefully it helps even one person to avoid what I've had to deal with. Regardless of price...

    Is this a bad job?

You're right it's weird putting screenshots up, but you kind of need to on here. People seem to accuse you of everything before knowing all the facts.

    Is this a bad job?

I hear you but would you be happy with your name on that job regardless of the price? I always got told to get 3 quotes on any work and the most expensive was £450 for the plastering. Either I was really unlucky and got 3 quotes from cowboys, or that is the going rate in my area. The plasterer...

    Is this a bad job?

Lol I'm looking for some money back? I've got more chance of winning the lottery mate. If a plasterer can't do a good job for a certain price then dont f**k**g quote it. I've been told no decent plasterer would be happy with their name on that job.
