Thanks nelly. I am just worried that I won't find out how the plaster board will behave until I start skimming and by then it might be too late. What mix of PVA do you think? Maybe a 5 to 1 mix. Thanks

Hi Looking for some advice. Got a room where a couple of the walls have been plaster boarded but it was done about 6 months ago and there has been no heating in the room since the boards went up. Do you think that it will need a coat of PVA before skimming just in case it has dried out a bit...

Hi How much should I be looking to pay for a ceiling to be skimmed. The ceiling is 21 square meters and about 9 foot high. The ceiling has just been boarded and the room is in the middle of a complete refurb so no carpets or things to keep clean to worry about. The job will be in London E4...
