Sorry not sure I quite follow. It’s just a brick cavity wall with a visible dpc there was no plinth.

This looks like rising damp to me, I am hoping I am wrong. Sorry I don’t have theses photos when I first posted, this have shown up more recently and is both the front and back of the house.

Can this be fixed ? I’m worried if it is removed it will damage the bricks underneath. It’s been raining allot and there is a damp stain now higher than the dpc. This remains for a few days even when the sun is out, one stain even seems permanent.
