Cheers surprised to get a decent straight forward answer , didn’t know plasterers were comedians / gangsters

I recently tried using the refina sponge float for the first time and when flattening 15 minutes after it came out in a lot of scrath marks / drag lines all over and had to re do the wall, wasn’t too bad as it was in my own house. What am I doing wrong here ?
