    Going back to the ligger board. Plasterers used a ligger, brickies/ masons used a spot...I think

    Now then Barnsley. Anybody who went to Barnsley Building Tech in early 70s would remember the plastering lecturers name was Des O'Conner. Anyone under 40 please ignore this thread. Oh yes and a ligger is the correct name for a "spot board" Apologies for the confusion. I am feeling older still!!!
